The CPaaS MCP Server enables authorized AI agents to discover approved sender IDs and send governed SMS and email through Webex Connect using Send Message API v2. Tenant administrators can control which SMS and email assets are available to AI agents and the business use cases for which they may be used. The MCP tools support SMS and text/HTML email, including email attachments, with tenant-aware authentication, validation, rate limiting, and auditing. To get started, an administrator enables MCP messaging in Webex Connect, configures the eligible sender IDs and use cases, creates the required Webex Integration credentials, and connects the MCP server to a compatible AI client. No non-Webex account is required. An eligible Webex Connect subscription is required.
